The much awaited Apple Watch Series 4 is most personal watch yet, setting a really strong precedent for tech devices for other companies. Press on the new Apple Watch is overwhelmingly positive, with websites recommending that this is the time to invest in a smart watch, and the series 4 in particular. Nike’s Controversial Week

Because of the existing data of the incredible aftermath of this campaign, it is easy for me to conclude that choosing to use this ad was the best decision for Nike. Even now, weeks later, simply searching "Colin Kaepernick" shows "Nike hits all-time high after Kaepernick ad backlash" as the first article result. I think this was a home run for Nike. I have always been told that any publicity - good or bad - ultimately contributes to exposure for a company. And any exposure - any way to get your name out there is a good thing. Because this ad in particular had so much controversy, it was talked about on so many different platforms and news sources that the brand got so much more publicity than they otherwise would have. Promoting Loyalty

People want to feel important,  acknowledged, and valued, which is why brands and companies create lasting connections with the customer. Getting to know a customer on a personal level makes that connections, and loyalty programs are the best way to do that. Being rewarded for purchasing necessities, or items you like seems almost too good to be true. As a result of customer participation in loyalty programs, companies gain lasting customer trust, so the number of returning customers increases, which as a result increases credibility of a company as well. My family has owned a Costco membership since our third visit to the store, and 16 years later we still regularly shop for groceries in larger quantities from there. The benefits the loyalty program offered, for example a credit card, discounts and special coupons had a greater value to us than simply shopping without them or at multiple other grocery stores.
